Catholic RosaryThis Catholic rosary is crafted from matte black wood beads paired with silver tone metal components. The Ave beads are rice shaped and the Pater beads are round. All beads are polished and smooth to the touch. They are mounted on silver tone pins with twisted figure-8 links separating the decades. At the center is a rare medal with a lovely image of St. Mary Magdalene on the front and a sprig of lilies on the back. The crucifix is made of metal clad coco wood. "France" is incised on the reverse center. The molded corpus and scroll INRI banner are nicely detailed. A hand-wrapped loop connects the crucifix to the rosary. When fully extended the rosary is about 19" long. I believe the rosary is from the 1950s.
