Up for bid is a Cattaraugus Cutlery, Co., Little Valley, New York folding knife. I believe this is Cattaraugus item # 22109F. It has 2 blades ( clip and Pen ), glaze finish stag bone handle with shield, brass lining and nickle bolsters. This knife measures 4 1/2" long ( closed ). The clip blade measures approx. 3 3/16" long; and the pen blade measures approx. 2 1/4" long. Both blades are marked Cattaraugus Cutlery, Co., Little Valley, N.Y. The handle is in very nice condition. However, on the shield side, and on the right side edge just above the smaller bolster; it appears that a very small piece of the bone is shaved off. I said "shaved off" because I think that's the way it came from the factory. I looked at it with a magnifing glass, and it appears that it was cut that way. Eventhough, It is small and not that noticable; and I wanted to bring it to your attention. Both blades show honest ware, and some sharpening done over the years. Overall, I would grade this knife as very good +. Also, this knife is very solid, and both blades have a lot of snap. If you have any questions, please ask before bidding. The high bidder to add priority shipping cost. A money order is requested.
