This is a really great old fixture. I'm not quite certain of the period as it look to me to have elements of Art Deco styling and Mid Century Modernism. This uses standard 120v and has a heavy milk glass shade. There are no marks as to manufacturer on the metal parts, but the glass shade has a W with a line under it and US PAt. No. 1 812564-5 and Made in USA. Possibly for Westmoreland or Westinghouse. This is a heavy, well made industrial or commercial fixture which was previously used at a Catholic Monastery. It hangs down from the ceiling about 27" and the conical glass shade is 15 1/2" in diameter. Very good condition with some patina from age.No damage to the glass.
