This is a beautiful pale pink vintage hanky box with purple flowers and a gold closure and hinges that are still intact and working. The design is raised and the lettering spells "HANDKYS". The exterior of the box appears to be in very good condition with very little wear around the edges. The bottom of the box is a floral print and does have one spot that the print has worn off (please see pic #5). The interior of the box is lined with softly pleated bright pink fabric (might be silk, but I'm not sure) and is in very good shape in the top of the box and the bottom shows some wear and a few small spots, but still very good for its age. The fabric has come away from w the top and bottom hinge on the inside (please see pic #6). It measures approximately 5-1/2" square x 2-1/2" high. A fabulous addition to your shabby chic decor or your collection!
