I am putting up for auction a lovely and most unusual celluloid Art Deco rectangular compact. It has a hand painted Pierrot on the front of the compact with his black hat and white ruffle. The compact opens with a black clasp. On the inside it still has its original mirror which is worn as you will see from the photos but it is the original. T are also two rounds and a long indentation w the lipstick and powder would have been placed. They are no longer in the compact. Th compact is in what appears to be celluloid made to look like mother of pearl and t is black celluloid detail along the back of the compact. T is NO damage to the compact but t is a slight gap between the celluloid of the compact and the black detail. This does not affect the value or collectability of this rectangular compact
