Up for auction is an adorable, vintage, ceramic planter. It measures 8 1/4 inches high and 8 inches wide. It's done in the shape of a Border Collie puppy, sitting by a mail box, with a very happy expression on his face. It does have a few issues though. If you look closely at photo #5, you'll see that by the front of the mailbox is a tight crack, and on either side of the back of the mailbox is a crack. T is a great deal of crazing all over the planter. Photo #4 shows the back of the planter. On the right side is the worst of the crazing. That area has some discoloration as well. T are no actual pieces chipped off. The front of the mail box has the impressed words U.S. MAIL. The paint on the Border Collie is in excellent condition. The coloring in the photos isn't nearly as nice as it is in person. T is no bottom mark. Despite some of the flaws, this is an absolutely adorable little planter.
