Up for bid is this lovely vin tage water vessel. It's original purpose may have been as a small pitcher for containing hot or cold liquid. It is unique in that it's design did not include a lid of any kind, only a spout wide enough to be easily filled. The shape is that of a figural gourd. Note the flowering end underneath. Beautifully detailed and painted. The design incorporates a branch handle, stem spout, and lovely large leaves. It is in absolutely excellent vintage condition. No cracks, no chips. Minimal very fine crazing adds beauty and luster. It's approximate size is 4 1/2" tall to the top on the branch handle, approximately 6" at the widest point, and the approximate diameter of the spout opening is 3/4". Not marked, no signature.
