LOVELY VINTAGE CHARLOTTE RHEAD
BURSLEY WARE TL 40 TUBE LINED RELIEF DECORATION WITH GOLD HIGHLIGHTS LARGE FOOTED BOWL This is a stunning Bursley Ware bowl designed by the very talented Charlotte Rhead. This bowl has the full backstamp of Bursley Ware Charlotte Rhead England TL 40. This bowl is in excellent condition. The lovely blue floral and leaf pattern on a mottled beige background is highlighted with gold accents. T is a design on the outside rim of the bowl and also a design on the foot of the bowl. It measures approximately 11 1/2 inches wide & 3 1/4 inches tall. T are no chips, cracks or hairlines. T is however general overall crazing which is typical of this line. The gold highlights are in excellent condition with no rubbing. T are gold highlights on the inside of the bowl, on the rim, on the outer edge about one inch down, and on the foot. T is just a very, very minor spot of gold missing in one area on the rim, but it is very minor indeed. Thanks for looking and good luck if you decide to bid.
