Vintage Chenille Quilt

Welcome to my auction for Pink & Green Atomic Chenille Quilt and pillow. A delicious new quilt made primarily of squares cut from premium vintage chenille bedspreads. So much texture, it is a feast for the eyes as well as the hands. Soft and fluffy! This beauty is full of fun colors in shades of pink, green, and white. It is backed with the most cuddly soft white micro fleece.

Quilt Dimensions: 43-1/2" x 66"

My sister-in-law makes these beautiful quilts and has been making quilts for 17 years. She starts with high quality vintage chenille bedspreads. Most of the brands are Hofmann, Bates, Morgan Jones, and Cabin Crafts. She washes and dries each vintage chenille bedspread twice and then rotary cuts all of the squares and sews the quilt top. She puts a lofty all cotton natural batting and then sews the coordinating fabric on the back. All is handtied with white embroidery thread/floss. The last step in her wonderful quilts is to give it a final wash. Every choice and step is made with the greatest of care for an heirloom quality quilt to be enjoyed for many years.

Pillow Dimensions: 11" square

The back of the pillow is made up of Morgan Jones white popcorn chenille.

This vintage chenille quilt has been freshly laundered and ready to be enjoyed. This quilt and pillow will arrive in an airtight storage bag to keep it clean.
