Vintage Chicago Police Dress Uniform
This is a dress blouse worn by a Chicago Police Officer from the traffic division as noted by the 'T' on the unit patch. This style patch went out in the 1970s and uniforms with these patches still intact are uncommon. The stripe on the sleeve indicates this officer had at least five years on the job. It looks like a 20-year designator was sewn above the stripe (meaning a total of 25 years on the job) but I cannot verify it. Made out of 100% wool, it is in excellent condition. I don't see any moth holes or tears. Label inside the pocket says it is a size 40 regular. Very nice piece of police memorabilia.
