This is the old style "shiny" jacket worn by an officer assigned to the public housing unit. He wore this when he was a sergeant. The Housing Authority Police is no longer in existence which enables me to list this item with the original patches intact. The label indicating the size is worn down so I don't know how big it is but I'll guess a 40 or so.
It is in excellent condition. I don't see any tears or stains. The only wear I see is the leather edging on the cuffs of each sleeve is worn. The star patch on the sleeve indicates this officer had at least 20 years on the job when he wore this. The patches and stripes are all original. His name tag is still pinned on the right side. The velcro patch on the left side is w the radio mike hung. You don't see this patch on the jackets anymore because the radio mikes snap to a strap hung from the shoulder. A very nice jacket.
