They have never been mounted. The assembly job was done by the same guy that would have sold these to you in the 1970's. He manufactured and sold 1000's of Oak Skateboards these trucks went on. He lets loose a few sets each year for me to sell here. He says back when these hit the market that almost every kid in Northern Palm Beach County must have had one of his skateboards. And when the Roller Sports Urethane and Power Paw wheels became available that skateboarding just went crazy. The Chicago trucks with the square plates were some of the first available in the early 70's. With the resurgence of skateboarding on clay wheels and with the newly available Urethane wheels a lot of great skaters got their start on these early set-ups. These vintage trucks surely are part of skateboarding history! Great set to add to a vintage skate collection or to set up on a neat oak deck rider for yourself.
