This darling toy set dates back to the 30's or 40's and the 4 pieces are in remarkably good condition. You could say they are SUPER MAID! They include nicely marked toy lipped kettle, skillet, waffle iron complete with ring, and bailed round griddle. Children often played with kitchen toys scaled to their small hands, but as well made as the adult sized sets sold to the parents. The quality of this set is every bit as nice as a similar set in either Piqua Ware or Griswold or Wagner Ware children's play kitchen sets. Look at the finely turned handle on the waffle iron, for example. Like sets from other companies, the Super Maid pieces are each roughly 4 inch diameter.
