This is a complete set of 15 Orange CHILDCRAFT books from 1954. They are a joy to look through and are wonderfully illustrated. The content brings back a lot of memories! From every nursery rhyme you can think of, to the natural world, to fascinating stores of life and history, these books are true American Treasures! The 15 books are as follows:Poems of Early Childhood, Storytelling and other Poems, Folk and Fairy Tales, Animal Friends/Adventures, Life in Many Lands, Great Men and Famous Deeds, Exploring the World Around Us, Creative Play and Hobbies, Science and Industry, Art for Children, Music for the Family, You and Your Family, Your Young Child, Your Child Goes to School, Your Child in Today's World The books are overall in very good condition. The covers and boards are in good shape. The pages are tight and spines are predominantly undamaged. They do have some gentle use. In Books 1, 5, 6, 11 a child wrote their name on the page before the main title page or the title page. In book 3, the 1st page before the title page is about 1/2 torn out. Book 15 has a bit of staining on the spine (see photo) , and there is a small 1" tear at the base of the spine.
