Welcome To Our Site and *Happy Father's Day* God Bless Our Military!! Today,for your consideration,we have an*Adorable Antique Vintage 1930's-40's Childs Alphabet Sampler Quilt that is So Sweet and Cheery that you just have to smile :o) when you look at it! The fabrics used are all cotton (including the thin batting) and the colors are vivid and eye catching. This quilt measures 64x79 which is a Twin size or could also fit a Full size as a Coverlet* It is hand appliqued and hand quilted at 5spi. The letters of the Alphabet are embellished around the edges with red or gold embroidery floss and every so often you see a white threaded zig-zag embellishment on a small area of one of the designs. The entire 7" border is handquilted with a rolling figure eight design* The 1/4" seperately applied hand stitched binding is done in red. T are Sixty Three,7" blocks filled with Bright and Colorful Letters of the Alphabet, Sun Bonnet Sue, Overall Bill, Ships on Water, Eight Point Stars and Baskets* The reverse is solid white. I found only (3) seam seperations and no other flaws on this sweet quilt! I do consider this quilt to be in EXCELLENT VINTAGE CONDITION! What child (of any age) wouldn't Love to have this quilt to cuddle up with at naptime or to hang on their bedroon wall! This is a great FUN way to learn the alphabet and learn a little
