VINTAGE China CRINOLINE LADY Powder Bowl Trinket Box Victorian and Vintage This is an absolutely fabulous vintage ladies china powder bowl that is in excellent condition. It is crafted in the shape of a lady in period costume wearing a blue crinoline dress that is decorated with pink flower; the dress has puff sleeves that are edged in gold; the front of the bodice is finished with a pretty bow, also edged in gold. The piece is probably German in origin. The top half of the lady can be removed with the bottom half of her dress forming the powder pot. It would originally have been used as a powder bowl but could equally well be used to store your favourite trinkets. This is a wonderful piece and would make a fabulous addition to any ladies vintage dresser / boudoir. An absolutely gorgeous crinoline lady vintage powder bowl!!! DIMENSIONS - It measures 5" (13 cm) in height and 3.6" (9 cm) wide. CONDITION - The item is in good condition and although vintage, it has been well cared with no chips, cracks or crazing.
