Vintage Chinese Asian Carved Phoenix Cinnabar Chest Chest Of Drawers 10" x 22" Description: This beautiful chest of drawers is made of carved cinnabar with a Phoenix design on the top and floral motif. The top opens up to reveal a blue lined jewelry area with a tray that lifts out to show more storage. The front doors hide 6 deep drawers. It sits on a wooden stand with inward curved feet and hardware on the front is cloisonne enameled metal in black, red and green. The chest was purchased at an estate sale and is in vintage, pre-owned condition. Please see photos for the following details:The right front door is not flush to the frame and needs minor repair. The tray does not fit tightly or lay flat; the lid does close securely and the red ribbon shows some tearing in the center although the edges are fine. The stand has some deeps scratches, mainly on the sides. The top of the lid has some glitter in the grooves and needs a delicate cleaning to remove. The inside of the drawers have some touch ups on the black paint along with the inside panel doors. The chest measures 10" tall x 22" across and 12 1/4" deep.
