Vintage Chinese Dragon Sculpture marked SHEN SHO AN HEEKEEThis amazing art piece is marked from FOOCHOW, CHINA and wasacquired from a collector estate. I do not know the age of the sculptureor the materials used but seems heavy for its size [9-1/8" lg x 1" w x 2" hand is approx. 9.8 oz]. The condition is great as the pics show, with thetips of the dragon head showing some wear of the gold surface. I amusing a similar sculpture sold on ebay on 4/3/12 for $1,136.00 as a pricebaseline. That piece wasn't in as good condition and this dragon has afine home in a dovetail made and lined wood box. I know very little aboutthis art piece, so if anyone has any information I might use, I wouldappreciate the input.
