VINTAGE CHINESE EGGSHELL PORCELAN LAMP VASE

This is an exquisitely beautiful vintage Chinese eggshell porcelain lamp vase / lantern. The porcelain is so thin and delicate that the light actually shines through! Circa mid 20th century with a peony and chrysanthemum design. Measures about 11 inches high and comes with a vintage teak wood stand.

I do have many other Chinese and Japanese items for sale: vintage, antique and ancient. I am selling these for an elderly Chinese gentleman who was a renown collector and purveyer of Chinese works for many years in New York City and has recently retired. The pieces are all guaranteed as described (and in some cases w provenance was unclear, we erred on the side of caution.)

We do have an office / showroom in New York and customers are welcome to view and/or pick up items, by appointment only.

Please note that the sale of this item is subject to the following terms and conditions. By bidding or buying this item you are agreeing to these policies. Checkout is redirected to my eBay Prostores site which is safe and secure. You have the option of creating an account t, but it is not required.

Return Policy

All of my items are guaranteed. If t is a clear error in the listing, I will be happy to refund the entire cost of the item plus return shipping.

If t is no error in the listing, I will provide a refund less shipping costs.

If you request a return, please notify me within three days of receiving the item. Of course, all items must be returned in the same condition in which they were received.

Shipping Insurance

Shipping Insurance is optional on most items. However, if you do not opt for insurance you accept full responsibility for any packages lost or damaged in the mail and agree not to hold Chelsea Marketeers responsible.

Payment

I accept Paypal. Payment must be received within 10 days after the sale.

If the shipping charge looks excessive, please email me - it is probably just an error.

For Domestic shipments, I generally use USPS Priority Mail with delivery confirmation. T is NO real tracking for USPS Priority Mail. If you require tracking, then the item MUST be sent either via UPS or Express Mail.

INTERNATIONAL BUYERS PLEASE NOTE: Tracking is only available with USPS Express Mail, UPS, DHL or FedeX. Regular First Class International and Priority Mail do NOT offer tracking. If you choose Priority or First Class you are agreeing to a NON-TRACKABLE shipment method.

International shipping times take 3-14 business days but during busy times it can take longer. Additionally, if items have to clear customs that can delay the shipment further.

Certain countries have had extended delays in customs, including the United Kingdom, Italy, Germany and Austria.

International shipments are also subject to local taxes and import duties. These costs are the responsibility of the buyer.

Tax Message

For all items shipped within New York State (other than clothes), please add 8.375% to the total amount (including shipping).

Combined Orders

If you order multiple items, we are happy to combine them to reduce overall shipping costs. If the automatic calculator does not discount properly, please email us and we will send a revised invoice.
