I am not experienced with JADE. This came from a home with an extensive collection of Antiques that were inherited so they had no idea where Mom got it but she was a traveler. I have seen lighter JADE but never this dark shade so it could be SOAPSTONE. Please pass along any information so I am not misrepresenting the FOO DOG which by the way could be a LION in any way. It stands 7 1/2" high by 3" by 4 3/4" wide. Very heavy weighing 5 pounds. This auction is for one only...never was a pair. Shipping will be to your area. Thanks for viewing!
