Offered is this vintage Chinese black lacquer and cinnabar bos. The cover has carved figures and a large, looming tree. It is marked "China" on the bottom and likely dates to the 1930's. The box measures 5-1/2" long by 3-1/2" wide and 1-1/2" high. It is in good condition, barring a small split on one of the sides (see photo). It is not terribly noticeable but does exist.
