Offered a vintage Rose Medallion cup and saucer Saucer is 4 5/8" across cup 3 3/8" across x 1.5" tall Eggshell porcelain decorated with classic 4-cartouche design in traditional pastel palette adorns the saucer cup has solo cartouche of brightly colored bird surrounded by gold trim bordered by traditional floral garden scene on one side and family gathering on the other gold trim is mostly worn on saucer and cup rim, yet intact on handle and center design of saucer Teapot in basket cozy that accompanies this cup will be posted soon Too often I get an email AFTER the auctions ends, asking "Is that item still available? Or do you have anymore?" The bidder gets busy at work or distracted by everyday details and does not get to place that last bid. May I suggest a prevention to this disappointing dilemma or getting 'snipped' at the last second of bidding? Place your MAXIMUM BID (the highest amount you wish to pay for this item) when you are first interested in bidding. Then your bid will rise just enough to outbid another and only goes as high as your maximum bid until the auction ends.
