Vintage Chinese Vase Porcelain Green Crackle Glaze This vase was purchased in Hong Kong in November 1971 and came from my father's estate. He was a world traveler and avid collector of Chinese porcelain and Chinese and Asian art. Lovely monochrome, dark apple green, crackle glaze vase. The bottom rim is unglazed white while the recessed bottom is a dark green. The slightly flared rim flows into a long thin neck that extends to an elegant base. This is a lovely small vase that is well balanced in its proportions. The vase is in very good condition. Prior to glazing, a very small chip occurred on the outside top rim. In spite of this, it does not detract. A few frits are visible however they blend in quite well with the fine crackle finish. A simple, older wood base accompanies the vase for display purposes. If you have any questions about this piece, please email me prior to bidding. Serious bidders only. Thank you. The vase measures 4-1/4 inches in height and 2-2/3 inches in width. The stand measures 5/8 inch in height. Weight for the vase is 6.8 ounces for the vase and 0.5 ounce for the stand. 1103Q
