Vintage Christmas Angels Chenille Spun Cotton Ornament

For your bidding consideration we are offering a wonderfully vintage 5 piece lot of chenille, mica and spun cotton angel decorations. These lovely little ladies are festively dressed in shades of blue, gold and red, embellished with mica glitter and foil. Each is mounted atop a cardboard disc for shelf sitting and has a silvery halo with a hole punch in it for hanging from the tree. Hanging threads are not attached nor included. Measurements are approximately 2.25 inches in height and 1.5 inches in width at the base. Three of the angels carry candles in their hands and the other two are appointed with white, bottle brush trees. Their faces are lovely and delicately hand painted. They are of marked Japan on their bases and are of the mid century. The condition is quite good, exhibiting minor wear consistent with age and use.
