This is one of the Rarer Maritime themed Cigar cutters from Germany. This one has a Match striker on the Reverse side.T is a tube to hold a Few Matches and the Flint strip to strike it on is attached to that you will see this in the Photo's.This piece stands 6" from the Base to the tip of the Ships wheel and is 5.5" across the base.It is in Excellent condition and will still slice the tip off a Cigar clean. This piece has the German Registered design mark D.R.G.M.on its base that stands for the German-Reich Registered Design in English. In German it is pronounced Deutsches Reich Gebrauchsmuster. The Finish on this Cutter is Magnificent with no wear to speak of.Most everyone who knows cutters knows that you would insert the tip of your Cigar into the Tapered hole on top and turn the Ships wheel to slice off the tip.I have taken several different photo's for you to view the Fine condition this Cutter is in.Thanks for looking and please stop and take a look at the other Cigar cutters and lighters that I have listed from the mid 1800's.Good Luck...
