This is for a RARE.. 1978 Classic board game " Class Struggle " by NYU professor and critical Marxist theorist, Bertell Ollman. The game and pieces themselves are in great condition having never been used very little. The box shows some wear (see pictures), Some creases, some scuffs on the corners of the top cover.. No Tears.. Cover is sunk in a little, and there is a very faint number written in what looks like a yellow highlighter on cover. According to Board Game Geek, this game " is a vehicle for instructing students (there is a classroom section in the rules) on why Marxism is superior. The Workers move around a board while trying to survive against the Capitalist who control everything. As the Workers unite they take power from the Capitalist players but if they do not succeed in uniting the Capitalist will win.Contents include: Board, 2 sets of instruction, 1 for beginners, and 1 for more difficult and tournament rules.. 3 dice ( one special with logos) 6 playing pieces, 12 wooden holders, 4 Alliance Cards and 2 other cards. 70 Chance Cards for workers and 35 for capitalists. and stack of special play money...
