Vintage Scientific Tool Set This is a vintage scientific tool set. This was my father's sister's. This was used for dissections and other scientific experiments in school. This is from the 1940's I believe. This is in the original fold closed case and has all of the original pieces. T is a pair of scissors, tweezers, a scalpel, a thick metal hook type instrument, and two wood handles pointed end tools. The inside of the case has green felt protective flaps and has the original paper as well. The paper has metric equivalents on one side and the care instructions on the other. Of note, this states "Steel and the skilled labor that makes these instruments are needed for war purposes. Treat these instruments carefully and they will serve you longer." These are by "Clay-Adams Co." The set measures 7 1/2" x 3" when closed. The outer case is not leather, but some type of vinyl, I think. Condition: Very good. They may need a bit of cleaning, but they are in excellent condition with no broken parts etc. The case is also in excellent condition. My aunt's name is still on a paper and taped on the inside flap of the case. Easily removable with care. Please feel free to ask questions before buying this item.
