A fascinating peice of memorabilia. I presume this item was attached to artillary in some way. Appears to be made of brass and is quite heavy. Has a brass bubble level at the top, which is in perfect order and very clean. The item is very clean, as a whole is clean, ts wheels working very smoothly Measures approximately 5.5 inches long The first photo shows a graduated scale of depth and elevation. On the back, which is stamped into the metal it reads :- S.R.L&Co. 1944 No. 27505 OS 330 GA , and below that the words Clinometer Sight (Mark 4) An excellent collectible.
