I will be listing a lot of items over the next couple weeks (winter cleaning) trying to thin out the vast collection of "treasures" I have gatd over the last 40 years. Check back often because t will be a wide variety of items from collections to odds and ends.
I have lots of tobacco and coffee tins and collectibles,some better than others so i'm going to divide into lots with a variety to try and garner more interest. If you would like more pics. of any one particular item i will be happy to e-mail them to you, just ask. i will describe semi-loosely because t is is a lot of stuff but feel free to ask as many question as you need to feel confident to bid. I have a few "mint" or near mint tins that I will be listing if i get bids on this "test" listing. I'm starting these at .99 cents to get you guys going, but that doesn't mean I want to give them away. This is one of the rarest of the Maxwell house tins, it lists in most of the books at $50.00-$75.00. It could stand on its own at auction but I will throw the other two in as bonus tins because i have a lot of these, and i don't have the hart to throw away, would rather they go to someone who will give them a good home. The DelMonte has its original lid but the maxwell does not. This maxwell house is in great shape as you can see,with bright colors,no surface rust, no dings or dents, just a few very minor scratches, none longer than 1/4". I would give this a 9 on a scale of 1-10, a very nice display tin if your into the mint look, i personally like the "character" that normal wear, tear, and rust that age brings to the tins.
