VINTAGE COLEMAN NICKEL QUICK LITE LANTERN HEATER CAMP Up for auction is this Coleman Quick Lite heater. Looking at a coleman website this looks like it might be a model 480 made in about 1929 but it doesn't have the wire guard or ceramic radiant. They also showed a model 532 from 1929 but this one looks more to be the 480 model. Total height is about 20 inches and diameter is 13-5/8 inches. I can't read everythin on the bottom clearly. As you can see in the pictures the heater was used and still has black smudging. You should be able to clean it up if you know how to do that. Not many dings to speak of and all the knobs turn freely and the head tilts freely. This one "looks" like it would work if you knew what you were doing to get her fired up. With some TLC I think she'll shine up pretty nice. I suspect these are fairly hard to come by as I don't see them for sale on ebay, so don't pass on this opportunity.
