This auction is for a vintage 12 volt Federal Model EG siren from the 1960's. As you can see in the pictures, it has been restored and is in very nice condition. It is spotless inside and out with no rust or corrosion. The bearings have just been greased. The brushes have been replaced and the armature is spotless. It operates flawlessly and only needs is a 12 volt battery to bring it to life. This will make a great addition to any vintage collection. It is 9" long, 6 - 1/2" wide, and 7" tall. It is very loud. Please Note: When I was restoring this siren, I misplaced the ID tag. If I am able to find it, I will send it along, but it is being listed without the tag. The mounting screws are t, but ID tag is not. Looking at the picture showing the front of the grill, t is some distortion to the grill work on the bottom. The metal is not broken, just slightly bent. Also t is a small indentation on the back of housing in the 12 o'clock position. It is not noticable in the pictures. The $15.00 shipping cost covers complete careful packaging and insurance. This siren weighs 13 lbs which is why the shipping is slightly on the high side. This auction is for the lower contigious 48 states only. Good Luck and Happy Bidding
