Vintage Collection 1940s-50s FIRST AID Tins & Glass Clinical Oral ThermometersDescriptionCollection of Vintage 1940s-50s FIRST AID Tin Boxes, Contents & 2 Clinical Glass ThermometersFeatured here is a mini first aid selection of tin & cardboard boxes and glass thermometers. All of these tins, boxes& thermometers are probably from the 1940s or 50s.BISMUTH-FORMIC-IODIDE COMPOUND 1-1/4 ounce size tin bottle by Sharp & Dohme of Philadelphia. The tin measures 4-3/8" x 1 5/8" diameter and is in good condition with no dents but some paint loss, scratching and light staining. It has been opened, but it appears to be full.HANDI-TAPE 12 adhesive tape bandages by Bauer & Black of Chicago. 5 of the bandages remain plus the First Aid informational instructions as pictured. Very good condition with only slight surface wear for the tin itself.Johnson & Johnson RED CROSS COTTON unopened box of 1/2 ounce sterile absorbent cotton. The box measures 5" x 1-1/2" x 1-1/2". Based in New Brunswick, NJ and Chicago, Illinois, Johnson & Johnson's products were then all made in the USA. There is one spot of fading and minor corner wear, otherwise the box is in excellent condition.Johnson & Johnson RED CROSS Tri-Wide Adhesive Tape, 3 widths, 5 yards. What remains of the contents is pictured. 2-1/4" diameter x 2". Condition is good with edge and surface wear.
