Beautiful, near mint condition, all original vintage (logo dates late 1960's-very early 1970's) GUCCI tennis racquet cover. Signature all-over Gucci logo with leather ball carrier. Gold stamped "Made in Italy by Gucci" see close up in photo #3. I don't think this item was ever used as the original tissue paper is inside the zippered ball carrier and there are no signs of wear that I can see. It also has a small part of a Joseph Magnin price tag inside the pocket. It was most likely a gift and someone cut the price away but wanted the receiver to know it came from JMagnin which was a high-end retailer in Denver at that time who had the exclusive Gucci Shop within their store in Cherry Creek North. I used to shop in that store, have been a tennis player all my life and this is the only one of these logo cases I have ever seen. Size is approx. 14 1/2" tall, 9 1/2 wide and 3 1/2 at bottom opening. Rare collectors item for any GUCCI fan, for yourself or a unique gift...sure to please!
