Vintage Hand carved wooden Comanche/Kiowa doll. Carved by Iron Horse and Wild Flower. From Oklahoma. Male Doll measures 13-1/2" T Great beaded necklace, pipe and wrapped pipe stem, Drum on side. His face is carved wood and his body is also carved wood. Braids. I can't find anything wrong with this doll, he seems perfect. GREAT addition to your collection. Fresh from the estate of Sarah Grant Warren Ohio. She kept her baskets, dolls and masks stored in cedar so they all smell nice.See my other auctions for lots more of her baskets and other artifacts. Her collector card on this doll says: (Sarah's card on this one is contradictory. She bought the doll second hand so it could account for the contradiction.) Her card says: Comanche/Kiowa Conti doll made by Jimmy Big Mountain. Originally from Oklahoma, now in Ohio. Purchased from David Carbaugh 8/16/94. The leg is clearly signed by Iron Horse and Wild Flower so I am guessing the Jimmy Big Mountain was an error on David's part. David was a fellow collector friend of Sarah's.
