This English vintage Comoy bent bulldog Sandblast shape #409 estate pipe was initially purchased in the 1960's and was made to the standards for which the Comoy brand was known before the family-run company was taken over by Cadogn Investments Ltd. in the early 1980's -- note the three piece inlaid "C." The pipe has been lovingly smoked and and well cared for, with only small tooth marks on the vulcanite stem. It weighs 1.2 ounces and is 5-5/16 inches long. The bowl is 1-3/16 inches deep and 3/4 inches wide on the inside and 1-1/2 inches high and 1-9/16 wide on the outside, The sandblast finish reveals a tight mostly bird's-eye graining.
