Vintage Deco Evans Mayfair Stunning, Deco Green Enameled lid and base...Lid design is Faux (?) Guilloche' enamel, not sure on this one. (I have never seen Guilloche' without the handpainted flowers or with a Metal inset) Unique inset of a Hanging Basket in Black and Silver metal. The basket holds three Light Peach colored flowers with hanging leaves, has a somewhat three dimensonal appearance. Measuring 2 1/4" square, double vanity case, full rouge well with Mayfair stamping on rouge. Engine turned powder well, Evans signed, a trace of powder, original puff. Hinged metallic double mirrors clear with some light scratches, hinges and clasps in fine order. Light enamel loss to base as shown in base photo, base has retained it's gloss. Lid in wonderful condition with a nice gloss. Incredibly beautiful, deco and very different! I am not an expert but try to list all flaws no matter how minor.
