You are bidding on a vintage compass set in a hinged wooden box.The base of the box does have a crack in it. The compass measures 3 X 3 and has 1 hook to keep it closed. The needle moves and it appears to work fine. The glass has a small (1/4 in) crack in it There is a pin in the upper right corner that keep the needle from moving when the cover is closed. The face appers to have some small stains on it. It looks old and would make a nice display or put it to good use.THANKS FOR LOOKING
