For your consideration, I have up for auction a pretty MELMAC or MELAMINE CONFETTI SPATTER SET of THREE (3) NESTING MIXING BOWLS! These are vintage bowls, from the 1950's. They are in WONDERFUL CONDITION. No chips or cracks. T is some minor utensil marking on the insides, but very minor. No loss of shine, inside or out! (The medium bowl does have a small dark mark, like a slight burn, about 1/4 inch long on the bottom rim, but so minute that it is not noticeable at all, and looks like part of the pattern.See photo.) The small and medium bowls are marked on the undersides 'Trojan Ware, USC', while the large bowl is marked 'Trojan Ware, Bellwood Plastic Products, Made in USA, Bellflower, California'.These bowls are a thicker melmac, more like Boonton than Texas Ware or Brookpark. They are a matching set, and have an attractive banded edge around the top rim. They are beautiful autumn colors of orange, peach, tan, yellow and aqua on a cream color background. The medium bowl has more tan in it, while the small and large bowls have more orange. They are, however a matching set.The large bowl measures 9 1/2 inches in diameter by about 4 inches deep, the medium bowl measures 7 3/4 inches in diameter by about 3 1/2 inches deep, and the small bowl measures 6 1/4 inches in diameter by about 3 1/4 inches deep. They will hold about 3 quarts, read more
