This cookie jar is made of ceramic with an all-over cookie design and a walnut-shaped knob on the lid. It measures approximately 7 7/8 inches from side-to-side and about 8 1/2 inches tall to the top of the knob on the lid. Any spots in the photos are just camera flash glare. The underside is marked only with a scrap of a faded, silver-colored foil label -- perhaps one used by Napco. Overall and other than as noted, this cookie jar is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, stains, etc. There is some minor, uniform, completely colorless crazing -- what there is, is the type of thing that's best seen when the piece is held at the right angle in a strong light but isn't noticeable under normal conditions.
