You are bidding on a vintage celluloid pinback from the 1924 Republican presidential campaign featuring Calvin Coolidge and Charles Dawes. As far as I can tell, this is an original, not a reproduction. If anyone thinks otherwise, please let me know. My husband found this about 15 years ago under the floorboards of an old house in one of the oldest neighborhoods in Houston. The pin measures 7/8 inches in diameter and has very little rust, primarily on the back. The front of the pin has photos of Coolidge and Dawes with their names below their photos and the words "For President Vice President" above the photos. The back of the pin has the words "The Whitehead & Hoag Co., Buttons, Badges, Novelties & Signs, Newark, N. J." This would make a nice addition to any political pin collection.
