Largest Vintage Copper & Brass, Wood Handle Bed Warmer or Fireplace Popcorn Popper - 38" Long! This wonderful old copper and brass bed warmer came from the immaculate estate of my friend's father. It always hung by the fireplace hearth, as a warm and homey accent piece. You'll love it by your own fireplace, but I can't see any reason why you couldn't actually use it to make fireplace popcorn or to warm beds in a mountain cabin. The bottom pan is solid copper, the hinged lid is brass, with a bubble and star pattern, and the long, long handle is nicely-turned wood, with a hanging ring at the end. This entire piece is 38" long, with the handle being 27" of that. The pan itself is 11-1/2" across and 2-1/4" deep. The star pattern on the lid is comprised of small holes, so it's well-vented. This popper has an interesting vintage look - lots of patina, but still lots of shine, too. It's sure to be the highlight of your fireplace decor - especially if you treasure an old-fashioned look.
