This auction is for 1 (one) Vintage Copper Kerosene Lamp. Lamp is made of Heavy Copper material . On the Wick adjustment wheel is stamped " HORNET, P & A ", Made in the U.S.A . This is an Original Kerosene Lamp , Not a reproduction. On the bottom of the base, inside is stamped " V.J. Billstrom, Written script which I cannot make out, a Cup Loco, Metal Productions, Los Angeles, Calif, U.S.A . ". The lamp is fully functional and has a wick included. The Glass Chimney ( 4 ½" tall by 1, 9/16 by 1" in diameter ) has some minor chips on the top & bottom rim. T are no scratches on the glass that I can see. The lamp body and shade has No Dents, but does need to be polished. Dimensions of the lamp are 7, 5/8" tall, base is 2, ½" in diameter, the body is 3, 3/8" in diameter. The shade is 5" in diameter by 3" with a 1, 5/8" diameter opening on the top. We have had this lamp since the early 1980s, but do not know how old it is. We have had it on display but have Never used it. Professionally packed and shipped quickly after receipt of payment, cashiers check or money order. Personal checks wait 10 business days ( Mon-Fri ) to clear. High bidder pays $10.00 shipping ( Insurance is extra and based on the final auction value. ) in the lower 48 states. I do recommend insurance, as I am not responsible for the package once it leaves my hands and enters into the U.S. Postal System. Others pay actual shipping costs.
