Up for auction we are offering a gorgeous vintage necklace. The necklace is made with beautiful coral Venetian wedding cake beads. The necklace is comprised of 21 larger beads and 6 smaller beads for the extender. Each larger bead has a loose bead cap on both ends and a brass spacer bead in between. The total length of the beads end to end is 19 inches; this measurement does not include the hook or excess thread at the end (ref. photo). The necklace will need to be restrung. It appears it has been strung on a thread, and I would not trust it as it is. The beads are in excellent vintage condition. The heavy enameling on the beads is just beautiful and the hand made coral beads are such a lovely color. As with all hand made glass, t are some naturally occurring occlusions.
