The item for sale is the pin received by new owners of Chevrolet Corvettes in the late 1950's and early 1960's if they requested it by returning a postcard in the Owner's Manual of their new car after purchase. This pin is in very good shape. It is round and is approximately 1/2 inch across. The lettering on the front is not chipped and is very easily read. The original white background is also intact. The lettering on the back of the pin itself says MI/5 and 10K... The pin clutch is I believe the original and says BALLOU REG'D. I am not an expert on car memorabilia - I just happened to find this pin amongst a very large estate lot of jewelry and did some research online.
