This is a Vintage Cory Silex DXU/DXL Coffee Maker that is New with box. It is a 10 cup vacuum coffee maker that is glass. When 10 cups of water are added to the pot, the level is just below the lowest ring. I put 2 more cups in and the level is just below the DXL mark. So, I think it is possibly a 12 cup maker. The instructions and boxdo not state what size it is. It has never been used. T are no chips or cracks. The glass is clear and the bottom base still has the CORY sticker partially on. The sticker says "Heat Resisting Glass, Made in the U.S.A.Mfd. by CORY." The bottom pot has -DXL- and CORY both in green. The top pot has -DXU- CORY on it in green. It has 3 silver rings going around the pot and top piece. 2 are thin and the other is a thicker ring. The handle is a bakelite type material and says CORY in raised letters on one side.The metal top of the pot says "CORY CLC."It comes with the brewing instructions that state this is a Rubber Bushing Model.It has a cream colored plastic safety stand that also says CORY on it. It does have a very small yellowed spot on the bottom of it from setting in the box. It has two filters. One is the original (yellow box). It is a Cory Rod glass filter with instructions. the box is dated 1945-46. The filter is also in unused condition withno cracks or chips.The other filter is a Polan Fireglas
