Vintage-OLd Red Lucite, Double Beetle Bug Brooch An Amazing Piece, One of the Nicest Pieces I have laid eyes on. The Piece has A Victorian Look to it, it is Vintage, but I dont think it is very old. I usually tend to think and relate older pieces to the hook style clasp. The Backing is a Dark Mercury Color and the front is a darker Silver toned, with Large Red Lucite Bodies. These Beetles are so Neat Looking, this piece reminds me of the old Ink wells, The Metal Base that these Bugs sit on has an imprinted Floral Design, these piece is just so detailed looking. It is by far one of the Nicest Bug Brooches I have ever seen. And....It's Huge..... It is almost 3 1/2 inches length and 1 3/4 inches width. And....the bottom is number, on the bottom, w each Bettle's mouth is....one looks like (128)...the other looks like (107).... I have misplaced my good magnifying glass.
