** HANGING SCALES - "Chatillon" ** Straight from the estate auction this past weekend. These scales were hanging in his shop building. They are great scales ... I weighed a 5 pound sack of flour and it was exact. The top part measures about 8.25" in diamter. It has a glass face to it ... glass is not chipped, cracked or busted in any way. The writing on the scales say: "Chatillon; CAPACITY 20 lb x 1 oz; TYPE 027; Temperature Compensated Springs". Impressed into the face it has the numbers: "15737". The metal back and sides is in good to very good condition. The metal around the face has some rusty areas but the back side is in great condition. The top chain and hooks measure about 20". The galvanize pan has three chains that come up from it and they measure 11.5" to 12.5" long. The pan measures about 17" long by 11.5" wide and is about 6" deep. QUESTIONS???? Please email me.
