Covered Cut Glass Butter Dish. The bell shaped beautiful cover is approx. five (5) inches tall and approx. five (5) inches across its open end. The dish is approx. eight inches x eight inches. Total weight is 3.47 pounds. This butter dish is totally perfect. Absolutely no dings, chips or blemishes. A truly mint piece that has been in my 90+ year old aunt's kitchen for many many years and passed down to her from her mother. This looks like Irving cut glass and of zella pattern. I understand that it was made in somew around the year of about 1910.
I located this butter dish on another website and it was listed at $ 450.00. I am going to start this auction at only $ 50.00 and let the chips fall w they may. A rare piece of collectible cut glass that will impress the eye of any beholder. Any light shinning on this dish is reflected away like brilliant flashes of gold and silver. Don't let this piece pass you buy. What a beautiful collectors piece for your wife or mother. A christmas gift that they will never forget and that will be passed on down through your family as time passes on. If you like this item, then you will "LOVE" my other items that i have listed :"RIGHT NOW" on ebay. Just scroll up to the upper right hand side of this page and click on the link: "VIEW SELLER'S OTHER AUCTIONS" and you will find other collectibles and fine items and some just fun things.
