This auction is for an arts and crafts style hand hammered copper console bowl in the shape of a leaf with stem, made by Craftsman Studios of Laguna Beach, California. Nice organic leaf shape with one inward pinch on the rim, and solid hammered curled leaf handle. Size : Roughly 12 1⁄2âe long from stem to tip of leaf, 7 1⁄4âe wide, 1âe high Markings : Stamped on base with Hammer and Anvil Mark âeoeHand Made, Craftsman Co.âe Also has paper label with number 1667, and another label âeoeSolid Copper Made in U.S.A.âe Condition : Very good condition. T are no dings or deep scratches observed. The patina is rich and deep. T is wear to the interior of the bowl, the lacquer finish feels rough to the touch, with some pitting and minor verdigris. Overall, a lovely old piece, masterfully crafted. I have not removed the old protective pads on the base, which were applied by the previous owner.
