BEAUTIFUL PAIR HURRICANE LAMPS Measures 10 3/4" tall by 4" wide. 3 mm thick chimney. 8 sided flared upper edge, coin dot type of body design (smooth exterior raised "dots" on interior.) Color is delicate cranberry with milk white dots, upper edge also blends into into milk glass on exterior. Bases are very translucent milk glass. No markings visible. I have seen similar designs but not this exact one in some Fenton books, However I do not have access to references of all designs or glass companies so listing as maker unknown At least 40-50 years old (I received it in the early 70's from an estate sale) No chips or breaks. Some surface lining around body on exterior. Candlewax in bases Every attempt has been made to describe as accurately as possible. Be sure of what the item is before bidding. PLEASE NOTE- ADDITIONAL DESCRIPTION A clarification on the above description regarding the notation of some surface lining . One lamp has one continuous shallow narrow light line that circles the shade in a meandering downward spiral from the top to the bottom. It can be felt slightly on the surface in some places and not in others. Considering the unbroken lenght of this line (over 2x around the shade), its path (through the heavier glass coin areas not around) and deliberate direction it is highly unlikely to be either a crack or a scratch received while in ownership. The assumption is that it was created at some point during its production and tfore part of its character. The second lamp does not have a line.
